Hi,
I'm looking for a good value speaker system.
I've tested HK HKTS11 and Klipsch HD300 with an Onkyo 308 and HK AVR142 receivers.
The HKTS sounded a bit muffled for me, though it definitely reached lower frequencies than the Klipsch. Klipsch sounded more bright, but it was lacking some mids and bass.
Other sets I'm considering are Klipsch Quintent, Energy Classic 5.1 and Polk TL-250.
Please bear in mind that they would be attached to a low end receiver (currently I think about getting the Onkyo 308, but I might be able to get a second hand Onkyo 606).
The set will be used for both movies and music (Soft rock). I would like a clear set that could really pass the feeling in movies.
Thanks in advance guys.
