I was just surfing around when i saw this "50 Pack Puma 8.5gb Double Dual Layer DVD by Moser Baer for 610 Rs." I think it's a real deal. Nice way to copy those long 8.5 DVD's . Just search for "dual layers DVD" in ebay.in. You will see it in the listing.

Hey the only downturn is that the seller says to use speed of 2.4x or 4.0x speed only while burning.

Retail price of 1 dvd 8.5GB chennai is Rs20/-
and according to the deal yo specified per dvd costs at Rs12/-

nice steal deal does it has any shippin cost or any 4%VAT to it

The cost is 670/- which is also a nice price. Its quoting 590/- + 80/-.

Thanks for the post. Has anybody tried to burn dual layer? I dont remember seeing such settings in dvd writing softwares. It always shows capacity of single layer and allows that much data to be added.

I have. The trick is to burn them at a slower speed - 2.4 to 4 X Max.
