Advise Me- Denon AVR 1611 or Yamaha RX-V467

Want some serious advise here, am getting rid of my Denon AVR390 and want to pick either the Denon 1611 or the Yamaha RX-V467, am so very confused so need some gyan on which is better and which is more reliable of the two.

denon is best for both movies and movies, and ur price for yamaha is very much high......... if ur fixed with yamaha u can find some other dealer whose prise is lesser.....cheers

Prices do not seem right. 467 should be available for 22k, look at this price list:

In that case, I would suggest 467.

I think Yamaha is better in terms if Music but Denon would be better for both. I have auditioned both with Wharfedale and Mission speakers. Yamaha sounded better in both when I played Music. Then I went for Yamaha RX-V465 last month and I am enjoying it a lot. Seems a got a new Wife.....

If you can afford higher budget like more than 50, then I think there are other option also, like Marantz. Also Higher end Denons are better in quality.

You must look at the Denon 1911 before closing any deal.
Find the difference... am travelling, and cant remember_ something about the 1911 was better... dang>>> what???/
