This was first attempt to propel my humble system to the big leagues.
The M12 took 3 months to arrive. It was sent back by Indian Post once because the address was allegedly illegible (sigh!).
The second time I shipped via UPS, it arrived in a week, no hassles (even at customs).
It replaces the mighty Lyngdorf 3400 as a preamp/DAC and powers a 300b amplifier into Devore O/96. As of now, it already a step-up from the Lyngdorf (as it should be at 3 times the price, and Lyngdorf does amplification duties as well).
It also satisfies my urge for minimalism of having the minimum number of components, the M12 is a streamer/preamp/DAC, it incorporates the world famous Bricasti M1SE within it. The Lyngdorf 3400 is a one box solution (I prefer tube sound so it had to go), the best minimalist audio component out there, but this one is a step behind in that but a step ahead in SQ
