I bought this Alpine's 2 Din Head unit for my car last year.. At that time a representative from Alpine was there and he told me that right now this unit do not support music files copied from Windows 7 and they'll release some firware update after sometime which will enable this player to play files thru USB copied from windows 7 system..
I almost forgot about this thing but few days back i sent a mail to Alpine support asking whether they have released a firmware or not coz i couldn't find one on their site.. within couple of days i got a mail from Alpine Japan that this issue has been forwarded to India service center.. yesterday i got a call from the same representative that they tried a firmware but still they had some issues so they have modified a PCB for me and have sent the same to Pune's service center.. I'll be getting it in couple of days.. without any charges..
service guys will just replace the PCB and m good to go.. :yahoo:
