Absolutely agree. Compared to Spotify they are way behind in terms of the app. However, I find their catalog better than Spotify's but I guess this depends on individual listening tastes.
 
Amazon India music quality is very poor, i think all genres there is below 120kbps.
Before moving to lossless i wish they atleast move up to 320kbps in India.
 
In the Amazon app, there is a setting by which we can change the country for music app.....but it needs a legit US address.

Using this perhaps we can subscribe to ultrahd ?

I am highly interested in this .....as i have a Sabaj D5.
 
Suppose we are able to somehow trick Amazon to believe the location is US, what is the point? I mean can not use it with a network streamer like we can with Tidal or Spotify, limited to either phone or PC, good for on the go listening with a LG V series and such but can not expect the phone to be the primary source for stereo, can we?
I do not know if Amazon music is available as a plug in with Volumio or other such solutions.
