And now, HD vinyl

There's a sucker born every minute...

And they all get into audio!

But this is, primarily, about something different. The making of the masters fro which the records are actually stamped is done on ancient and difficult to maintain machines. This is a new way of producing those masters. For those who love vinyl, whether their love is rational, irrational, whatever, it means that the things should actually continue to be available for more of the future.

If the quality of the masters and the subsequent pressings is better too, that's a bonus.

maybe we ought to play that HighDensityLolyPethylene on a laser turntable.
Only the other day, I read that the laser players are hopeless with anything but a super-clean disc in good condition. Another equipment-owning dream shattered . There were some sample files... I didn't stop to listen: hey, I was never going to be able to afford that stuff anyway. And one of the reasons that my vinyl stays in the cupboard is that most of it is far from being in good condition.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
