any good Tannoy for pop music?

I know Tannoy is born to play classical music for most of their models, but I think there must be 1 or 2 of them which are good for pop music.

I am looking for a pair of good floorstanding Tannoy for playing pop and female vocal. I auditioned Definition DC8T last week yet I was disappointed. Though it's very punchy, the sound is veiled, lack of details.

Any good suggestions?

The only Tannoys that are worth considering are the ones in the prestige series - the new GR ones are awesome. The modern take ones like the dimension and definition are not great speakers. At the very least look for a Stirling GR or Turnberry GR.

whats your budget and the rest of the system Chris ? also any particular reason you are looking at only Tannoy ?
