I am in the process of setting up my LGPA70G which I got recently.

Am intending to setup things wireless and in the process of procuring HDMI wireless kit and in fact ordered IOGEAR Wireless 3D Digital Kit (@BHPhotovideo) to hook projector and other equipment wireless for video transmission.

I have Onkyo HT-R370 AVR and my DVD/TV Feed etc are routed through it using hdmi cables and from there using wireless kit to projector. The idea is to have audio from AVR and video from projector and keeping projector audio muted.

However, If I intend to use the USB port on projector the audio is out from projector which is not as good...

This is where am thinking of streaming projector audio from audio out onto my AVR aux-in wireless..

This makes entire setup wireless :rolleyes:

Any one has any such setup? recommendations??

Why you want to use the USB port of projector? Instead, invest in a good media player like ASUS - oplay mini, which reads your USB/HD and output it through HDMI port, which can be routed to your receiver.

Apologies for bumping up an old thread, I have a similar headache, My viewsonic PJD7828HDL beams video from fire stick connected to hdmi on projector, its fantastic so far, the problem comes with audio, which is close to crap on projector speakers. I have tried couple of options but nothing worked

1. FireStick -> Projector(hdmi) -> Audio 2pin to AVR = Excellent and thats 2channel only and I can't afford to let a cable hang in middle of room.
2. FireStick -> BT(Audio) -> AVR - Lags seriously, 2-3seconds. Audio delay setting can't help as video is no were related to AVR
3. FireStick -> BT(Audio) -> Logitech BT -> RCA to AVR -> i'll better then option[2] but still lags .5sec to 1sec on audio and its 2channel :(

None of the above solutions are good as its always 2ch.

4. FireStick->AVR(hdmi)->HDMI wireless transmitter->HDMI wireless receiver->Projector - assuming its going to work, fingers crossed.

I have ordered this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VCK1FG for options [4] to help myself control the situation, however I would like to see if any members have better options to fix my situation. Last resort is to make arrangements for physical wires via casing, which is what I want to avoid.

My whole point of having a projector and AVR was audio which is seriously skewed due to lack of proper cabling. help

Why would you not connect avr to projector with an hdmi cable?

Why would you not connect avr to projector with an hdmi cable?

Running cables would make the wall/ceiling look off. family does not support such an idea. I myself won't prefer running cables as long as technology supports such needs.

P.S What fun if we solve a problem :D with traditional methods.
