If you want detail review then pls read AV max-November 08 issue.They have compared this model with Yamaha,Onkyo.
They say it has enough power to drive floorstands also with good sound Q.
(both mov & music)
Stereo sound also exceptable than any other AVR.
They gave almost 5/5

Stick to cambridge audio unless you are going hi-end with the Denon or Marantz. At mid-budget levels, CA is the one to beat especially if music quality is a concern.

I don't know latest prices but from memory the 640R and Marantz 6003 are at the same price bracket : ~52K Rs. The 340R is significantly less at ~26K. So he can compare CA 640R with Marantz if he so chooses.
