anyone know what speakers to match my reciever?

Hi, I have a yamaha rx-v667 7.2 reciever. I currently have the energy micros connected, kind of bored with them. Looking into martin logan mlt2. Any suggestions? Thanks

I would not know what you would get in Baltimore, however, a pair of B&Ws usually sound quite nice with Yamahas.

Another way to do it would be to note power ratings of your amp from the manual, find compatible speakers through the net, zero in on the speakers which your budget allows and then take the Yamaha and audition the speakers with the Yamaha.

Willy it's been a month I have purchased an avr and not able to finalize what speaker to buy in, this is really confusing stuff. One thing for sure you have to first see your budget and then room size, second come the speakers brand. I guess no one has good support in India their disti usually give support. You have to always take the speakers to the support location. So everything zero down to budget just budget.

I have same AVR and tried may brands.I liked wharfedale 9 series speakers more.Also it matches well with Energy speakers.
