Are there Official or Flagship Brand Showrooms / Stores for LG / Samsung in Mumbai or other major cities?

If so, which ones in Mumbai (ideally) and where?

If not Mumbai, are some brands Delhi or Bangalore/ Hyd centric?

You have Sony Center and Samsung stores all over, you cant expect these brands to operate non franchise based experience centers now. Imho only the newer brands do it now.

Yes there are single brand showrooms but they are still dealers. Not officially the manufacturers' own division or subsidiary or group company.

There is a Samsung experience centre - in Brigade road, Bangalore.
Samsung Opera House
No. 57, Brigade Road,
Junction of Residency Road,
Shanthala Nagar, Ashok Nagar,
Bengaluru, Karnataka 560025

My point being that a lot of times because SALES folks are jack of all, they are unable to get into / know STUFF that is niche or new about said Brand/ Model etc. Hence Apple still uses its stores and even their India Resellers have some degree of similarity.

They need not have many stores, but if there's anything unique with a city that consumes lots of TVs, it might make sense to have an experience center.

Can you point me to an LG & Samsung center in Mumbai? (Something thats not Reliance/ Croma (been to both) Vijay Sales in Mumbai)
My online searching and calling has been a waste - Keep getting these Samsung PHONE EXPERIENCE CAFES?

Do guide me - How to find one?

Came across it googling last night. Will have to wait until I step out of Mumbai.
Thanks :)

FWIW, I think large multi brand stores make more sense for demoing so products across brands can be compared at one location.
My go-to stores, some years back albeit, were Sony Mony and Vijay Sales.

The issues is, they still are "multi brand" stores, not LG Exclusive ones. Is that not what we are discussing?
Or You found some LG only stores?

Since you cannot find an exclusive LG or Samsung store, best would be to demo the models at Reliance, Vijay Sales or Chroma and see what you like. I am sure the settings of the TV won't be optimal though. After that you can buy from the Samsung India online store or any of the above where you get a good deal and an unused piece. For LG, am not sure if there is an online selling site for India
I found Tata Cliq online store to be cheaper than the Chroma physical store for the same model though both are owned by Tata.

More often than not, I found Tata Cliq just interested in getting people to their sites, when they do not have enough variety, or the model searched. They have to come a long way to compete with established players.

Maybe LG has had poor experience in opening exclusive showrooms in Mumbai, not so in Delhi. Marketing strategies vary from place to place. Problem with Vijai Sales, Croma being they do not stock all the models we have on our list. Different branches store different models and you may need to hop between them.

That could be true but would have more faith in a Tata enterprise than Vijay Sales or Reliance.

I doubt Tata has enough expertise in this field. Nelco wound up pretty quickly. You need a foreign player, who can guide how to overcome Indian mentality in online space. Like Reliance Digital, people now observe they just offer cheap, but their installation service etc is not too good. Once the bad word spreads, ...

I don't think any of the showrooms may have the complete expertise regarding the products unless you go to a brand exclusive store. I got a Samsung TV from Chroma, Bandra just last week. It got delivered the next day after placing an order. Their coordination with the Samsung technician was very smooth and you get the mob no. of the Samsung technician on your phone prior his visit to your place. The technician who came was very professional and installed it and got it wall mounted and working quite fast. Our previous LG TV was also from Chroma bought in 2015 and never had any issues with it till last week. One cannot be sure with electronic items and the luck factor also plays a role.

Anyways the option for the OP is also there to purchase from the online Samsung store after seeing in the showrooms.

I can see the commercial sense, given Store Front rents.. But some of the "brand touch & feature set" insight is lost. Akin to deeply experiencing products at a US Apple Store or even maybe Apple Section in RD versus all other laptops etc in common area.

I've been to Reliance, Croma both in JVPD and staff is fine, they're just not always "deep insight" on specific TVs as a brand specialist may be.
SM Andheri (dead & depressing)

There in lies the crux of the question. Dont need exclusive stores everywhere, but if a brand/ company wishes to distinguish on specific differences they have, then either they separately train the RD staff or create a City Experience center/ Section of some sort. e.g. Bose or was it JBL / HT "micro shop" within RD.

Interesting. Which Model & Size?

Thats post sales, and does not seem to be a major concern unless its like the recent OLED drama one of the forum members got.

5-6 years of no issue is pretty fair. What issues? Which model / size was this?

Purchase is not current issue, Pre-Sales digging into is.

The Samsung just purchased is the 65AU7700 & as the model no. implies is 65 inches. Good buying experience from Chroma Bandra ( linking road) & Samung. Got a decent deal from Chroma too. After a week of installation also got a call from Samsung installation staff to double check if everything was fine. It has a 1 warranty on the entire TV & the 2nd year warranty is only for the Panel if I am not mistaken. You can extend the warranty for an additional 2 years by paying 6 or 7000 within 15 days of purchase.

The TV which malfunctioned was the LG 42LS4600, 42 inches. Off late, it developed a mood swing of its own but sometimes did play properly . When it doesn't, then there a vertical red lines on the image & the pic goes in a loop displaying the LG logo & you have to switch off from the mains. As per 2 technicians shown, the panel & the motherboard had become faulty & not feasible to repair. It served very well for approx 7 odd years as it was purchased in 2013 from Chroma, Phoenix Mills.

I do agree finding the right TV does take a lot of efforts. As for me I don't watch any programmes on TV & use it for only movies generally during weekends. My wife uses it for her programmes. Hence we both are not bothered about pixel perfect pictures. The TV's picture quality seemed quite good & the interface is simple. Saw LG & Sony too. Sony was way too expensive. LG was also good but they did not have much of a choice in 65 inches barring the 55 & 75 inch.
