Audiophile instrument cost in the face of reciprocal tariff

In high involvement consumer purchases such as audiophile equipment, buyers go for imported goods despite high tariff as there’s not much of locally made comparable performance/quality alternative. Lowering tariff to appease the trade partner makes more sense in such goods than in goods of basic necessity where there’s an established Indian industry.

So, let’s hope.

not sure if this will come up in reciprocal tariffs ....how many Indian ( or made in India ) companies are selling audiophile products in US ?

I dont think in consumer goods Indian companies are doing great ...its mostly Chinese , Korean , Japanese etc
