BenQ Service Horrors

My 4 year old BenQ 1070 bulb exploded and my dealer collected it from my home and dealt with the service center. After almost 1.5 months I got the projector back with the lamp but there are blotches all over the picture for some reason (not visible in bright scenes). I returned it back hoping that a cleanup would fix it.

But the problem is 'apparently' more than that and until today nothing has happened and I have almost decided to give up. This is in Hyderabad. Pretty disappointing

Will never go for BenQ and will never advice anyone to go for it either. Its unfortunate because otherwise they make some really good projectors.

It look like poor handling causing issue with DLP/DMD chip.This can be hard to settle unless replace it.

Interesting video. This is different to what I see. My picture has grey smudges visible on dark scenes. I am considering giving it to some private service center if I can find one - just for some closure.
