Hi,

After considering projectors with flexible placement I am dropping that idea as it is becoming quite costly. My budget is around 1L.

Now I am considering BenQ W1500 as it has longer throw and little bit of lens shift. I read the documentation, it says minimum height is 75 mm below (for table placement) or 75 mm above (for ceiling mount) the screen. Also, the lens shift gives around 225 mm movement for 120 inch screen.

What is not clear is that is the movement upward or downward for table mount. For example, if my screen is 3 ft from floor then without lens shift the placement comes to around 2.11 ft. Now with lens shift will it be 3.10 ft (upward movement) or 2.2 ft (downward movement).

The lens shift is same as W1070 so please share your experience with it as well.

Thanks

Benq w 1070 is around 82 k

whereas Benq w1500 must be more then 2 lakh in Indian market...

For budget of around 1 lakh if purchased in India good option are...

Optoma hd25 lv ...Epson 5200 both are in 80 k range ...

Epson 6100...1.03 lakh.......no lens shift in all three model......

Benq w 1070 or w1080....limited lens shift...

I hope you can refine your search...

I am planning to get the projector from US and W1500 is now down to just $1300 which is close to 80K. I just want to know how does the BenQ lens shifts.
