Hey mates....Needs suggestions..

Which is the best Streamer that is available within 1.5L.

Currently I am considering Naim NAC 172
NAC-N 172 XS | Preamplifier | XS Series | NAC-N 172 XS | Naim Audio

Thinking of selling my couple of boxes (including recently purchased CA Stream Magic 6) and buying a good streamer..

Amp will remain MF M3i and speakers Monitor Audio RS6 - Happy with it, unless i am convinced otherwise (thought confused also as I have listed to M6i and still remember difference)...

Net net, I will be shelling out 80K additional apart of letting go couple of existing boxes. Should that money be spend else where?

Yes, i meant other gadgets, not on yoga classes or bedroom curtains :D

I cannot give any suggestions but I am in the market for a network streamer/dac. I am intrigued by your stream magic 6.
Only concern I have are: it's unsample logic. I hate to see hardware do stuff to my media files while playing. I prefer transparent playback. I just wanted to know how is your experience with this device.
How well does it work over upnp or dlna? I have a synology nas, and I was wondering how easy will it be to hook them up?
And if and when you plan to sell it what price are you looking at?

Stream Magic works pretty well.. No problem stream FLACs... only time I have seen it struggled in terms of streaming is when I was trying to do Norah Jones - 24-192 HDtracks.. which is resolution we have for very very few albums... In terms of sound quality, upsampling seems to deliver good result. I am planning to move a notch up, that is only reason, I might sell this. Otherwise no complain in terms of streamer.

Are you streaming it over wireless? If so, that would explain the lags/jitter on HDTracks. Wireless does not give you sufficient bandwidth to run 192 files.

i will do it,I might sell this. Otherwise no complain in terms of streamer.thanks
