Purists claim that, only BNC connecters are having correct 75 Ohms,
and RCA connecters only having 50 Ohms(even in the female sockets).
It is said that, the making of the RCA connecters for correct 75 Ohms is
imposible. The only way to get 75 Ohms is -using BNC ?. If so, why most of
the CDP makers dont provide BNC output? Though few DACs having BNC inputs,
we could not utilise that facility as the CDPs dont have BNC output.
If BNC is a must one, then high end electronic manufacturers will definitely
consider that thing. We felt a lot mystified!!!

Professional equipment has BNC. I beeive the 75ohm is only important with digital and again more needed for video although audiophiles claim it matters.
there is a vendor that makes 75ohm RCA jacks, the name starts with C I think ..

The it is also said the rest of the cable will shadow any gains made using 75Om jack if cable is not up to mark.
