i have also heard a lot about Usher AudioX718 speaker, please tell me
about its price.

please tell us abot your room size, music preferences and the rest of the rig you have..

I have tried Boston Acoustics and it was good. As everyone says i would say audition them before buying anything.

A25 Speaker - 10,000 each
Center - 17,000

BTW i am going for towers(I found tower centers to be much better than compacts). Center is more important for my taste for movies.

the room size is 15*12 ft
music - Bollywood songs, some jazz, electronic, vocals, R&B
basically its a mixed bag of these, but i want aliveness
and airy sound.

B&W 685 is a reliable performer. So is the the MA Gold series.
Auditioned both recently and liked the former.

But for sheer Musicality for my kind of music, the Dali Ikon2 won hands down.

Hear all of them, and choose wisely.

Cheers,

I would recommend Harbeth P3ESR (mostly you need to double your budget, unless you can find a used one) or ProAc 115 which could fit your budget, not sure though.

I own Harbeth P3ES2 (older model) & SHL-5 also ProAc 140 MKII & ProAc 140. Hence the recommendation.

what about usher be718, many rave reviews online

Hi,
No pers experience with BE 718... but new one would be way above your budget (1.25 lac approx... other members please correct me if I am wrong)

From what I've read /heard from others, this speaker can sound very good, but needs careful matching with amplifier. If you can stretch the budget, you should PM our Forum member Odyssey (He deals in Ushers... is very helpful with guidance reg matching. I got my Ushers from him)

Regds,

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
