Bug in HDMI 2.1 chips affecting all receivers for 4K/120 or 8K/60.

Didn’t see any thread on the latest news about this bug caused by Panasonic HDMI 2.1 chipset on latest receivers. I was planning to the new PS5 and build a new home theater with the Denon x2700h. The article also says it’s not a firmware issue and might need a hardware fix.

Thanks for sharing this. Seems like it's a big issue and will blow up as it may require a motherboard change of the AVR. I too was planning to change my AVR in Jan/Feb along with the XBox Series X, but will now wait till this gets resolved. Would not prefer to get a repair job done on a brand new AVR !!
