Hi guys and galls I'm new to this site !!! I've just picked up a pair of celestion ditton 25 Mrk 1 only problem so far one ultra hi tweeter is not working have sent it off for repair verdict is its fried !!! Problem is with what information I've found its got a 16 ohm load ( is that correct ? ) as the only replacement coils run at 4 or 8 ohm your help please pm me on here thank you

Celestion are good for Rock and specially so musical for Guitar. Looks like Tweeters are Sol for the speakers like said its rare too.

If the actual Tweeter is 16 Ohms and replacement (I would prefer to replace tweeter on both speakers) is 4-8 Ohms load m, then we need to have a Cross over modified accordingly, If the Ohms Goes Up the Frequency Drops and might not match up.

Call to the repair center and request them, whether they could redo the Tweeter according to the replacement tweeter as well.
