Connect LG LED to 2.1 Speakers - Pls Help

Hello friends,

Got a LG LED LE5300 Model. I see a component in and the AV RCA ones. The RCA AV connected to the DTH box.

I want to connect the TV audio to 2.1 speakers and it got AUX input and a 3.5 mm out put cable.

I tried connecting the 3.5 cable of speakers to TV Headphone jack and worked, but a very low audio!

Also tried in component in L, R RCA Female to 3.5 AUX on speakers which didn't work. Am not really aware of the slots. Guess I do not have a RCA Audio Out?
How to see if I have one...However I see an Optical Audio Out slot.

Will ONLY the below work?

Digital Coaxial & Optical to Analog R+L Audio Converter

If so, what are the cables I need...please suggest

There must br some settings to increase the headphone out volume. Try turning the TV volume up. You can also connect the DTH audio out directly to the HT instead of the TV.

No settings, but to increase the volume...but its not clear.
Hence would really need the actual sound as is...please let me know if the one I mentiones suffice?

You will need optical to RCA converter (optical DAC) or use the second option connecting the stb directly to ht.

Please provide details about your 2.1 setup. Model , avl inputs

The best way is to connect the audio out from STB directly to the 2.1 system
