Hi guys i just bought a new amkette hd flash player. Seems lil a nice lil player so far. Only thing is i dont know how to connect it to my Philips HTS4750 dvd player to get the sound through the speakers. Any help will be appreciated thank u gents!

It is possible only if both the player and HT have same digital audio ports (either optical or coaxial).

Thanks for the reply :)

On the amkette player i have AV,YPBr and SPDIF

On the Philips dvd home theater i have Audio in,Tv -in,Aux-n....all are red and white color. Next to that is Video Out which has Pr,Digital -In,Y,Pb and CVBS.

I am so confused.....the amkette guy told me get a coaxial cable and put one end in the AV part of the amkette....but where will i connect the other end to on the Philips dvd player?

Thanks for ur help guys!

Your HT has no SPDIF input. But you can use the aux-in. Connect the LR out of the player to the aux-in using RCA cable. You will not get true 5.1 as the audio is 2 channel.

Thank u for ur reply sir.

But im still a little confused.....

Using the RCA cable.... on the amkette player connect the "AV" point to what on the Philips player? The white and red Aux-in?

Is this correct?

good info, Connect the Red white output of the player to the aux-in. thanks
