Hi all,

Just to make sure...I have a pair of Paradigms Monitor 9. It has four terminals for bi-wiring. Just was wondering could I connect one pair of terminals to my Marantz Av Receiver and another to a Stereo Amp. That way , is it possible to run the amps independently. I dont wanna run both the amps together.

Not sure what you mean. There are contradictory statements in there.
Q: Do you want to use 1 amp to drive the speakers or do you want 2 amps to drive the speakers?

I think Keith, that Sunny wants to alternate between the same speakers to be used for HT and stereo set up. Whether he can have one pair of wires always running from HT amps fronts to the speakers and one pair of wire from Stereo amp to the speakers. Right?
The four terminals are the separate hf and lf terminals I guess.

Thats right. But I just spoke to my hifi guy and he said its not possible cos there would be a reverse current flowing and it would lead to problems.

Ah! Now I see.
Just use a double pole double throw switch between the amps and the speakers. Should serve the purpose - no?

Easy and safe method would be use banana plugs at the speaker side of the cables and switch them from one amp to another

Only thing would be that you will need 2 pairs of speaker cables

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
