I got the chance to watch in SD a movie that I first saw over 40 years ago-Clint Eastwood in a movie, called Coogan's Bluff directed by Donald Siegel, who also directed him in Dirty Harry.Music was by Lalo Schifrin. He plays the part of a laconic hick deputy sheriff from Arizona who lands in the Big Apple to take back a fugitive who has jumped custody.

Though a bit dated, it was different from the spaghetti Westerns and had violence and action, including a motorbike chase. The blood and gore looks very artificial, though, and being an old movie the video was not too great.

A 90 minute entertainer, though, and for me a walk down memory lane!

George,

Coogan's Bluff is a classic from 1968!
One of the early movies that pioneered the gritty Clint Eastwood characters.

Thanks for the recommendation. Must watch it again.

Regards.

Remember watching this in the 70's when I was a wee teenager. Great film good choice.

A big fan of some of Clint Eastwood's western movies - though I have not seen this one. Thanks for the recommendation - will try and watch sometime.
