I just read the first. It makes me glad that most of my music is around 40 years old! However, I read somewhere that even some of the Grateful Dead's "live" album tracks were pieced together from multiple performances. Mind you, apart from the astonishing skill of tape splicing, which is, to me, brain surgery, that is still a step or three closer to music that is played, rather than assembled.
Before reading the second link, I just have to say wow to the opening paragraph...
Children, for the most part, are normal human beings who like to make believe that they're extraordinary, just for fun. Adults, on the other hand, are delusional creatures who enjoy pretending that they're normal, simply for their own peace of mind.
