denon 1612 left channel no output

Got a Denon 1612 July 2012 from ProFX Bangalore and after a while the front left output was not working. As it was under warranty ProFX send a technician and after checking it was clear the A/V receiver was problem.

They fixed in their service center. Now again within 2 months same problem reappeared. Taking it back to service center directly

May be it it is just my bad luck where got a wrong device or God knows what those guys are doing in the service center

Any one has any suggestion for me would be great.

You are not alone my friend. I too had problem with 1612 two times. First time there was some problem with the hdmi board. Luckily it was under warranty. This time the avr started to shutdown whenever there is audio in left rear channel. Since warranty was over they charged me 3.5K for servicing + cost of component+shipping to my home. They have shipped it and God knows if the problem has been solved or not.

I had the same problem in my Denon AVR 2311.The left Channel was not working, since it was out of warranty my friend repaired it. No problem now.Wondering why the left channel has a problem...

Is your friend a technician? Is it possible to repair these AVR s with local technician?
