Denon AVR X1400H or Denon AVR S760

I'm looking for a ATMOS supported AVR.
I have two options
1. Denon avr x1400h which is used for around 3 years (without bill) and getting at 33k
2. Denon avr s760 new with warranty getting at 54k

I'm a bit confused between both of them.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Welcome to HFV!

Compare the specs of both AVRs and decide. Warranty is only 1 year in India and usually AVRs nothing happens for 1-3 years if used properly.

If you are ok with pre owned route, you can see available models over Classifieds section on this site and even OLX. There are many available in Mumbai location which will not be that far for you.

Audition as much as you can if this is going to be your first system and then decide..

For Full Atmos compatible you need to go with minimum 9+ channel AVR , Look at Denon 3xxx series.
From above options , i would prefer AVR s760 which is new one and with warranty. Specifications wise x14500h slightly better which is 80 watts /channel where as s760 is 75 watts/ channel , it wont make much difference .

Try you can negotiate -5k for used AVR . else go with new one with warranty.
