Denon x2800h from AVshack or Profx

Planning to buy x2800h but prefer to buy from Profx shop bangalore. I'm expecting >=35% discount. Mrp i think is 144900/-. But AVshack online is around 67k. Is AVshack reliable and hope they don't sell refurbished piece and a brand new piece The price is very good online but have anyone purchased online and recommended AVshack.in and I hope warranty is applicable. Suggestionswill be really appreciated. tIA

The MRP appears inflated (to make the discount look good). No way that receiver can cost almost 1.5lacs. The actual price is around 80k to 100k INR.

The Official Denon resellers are Pro Fx and Preeti Trading Corporation. You need to ask AV Shack how they are giving you warranty. Who will attend to the unit should something go wrong.

My only suggestion is to pick up the phone and call them. Also ask Pro Fx to price match AV Shack. I am always wary of resellers in Delhi.

Are brand new AVR receivers Good? I thought they were tending to break ‍ faster?

I'm worried about that actually.. My Yamaha RX v-677 barely late 8 years before it started giving problem and i tried to get it fixed couple of times but not use. My friend owned a denon and hdmi card stopped working. Btw, my 25yr old harmon kardon is still working If you have any recommendations please suggest equivalent to x2800h let me know. It should last minimum 10yrs .. Need peace of mind after I buy it.

MRP is indeed 1.45L, 1800h is 104000/- something and you are right that profx and preeti mumbai are the official distributors. I haven't asked profx for a quote yet. Let me find out more from AVshack today. Thanks.

Howabout Pioneer onkyo? Yamaha aventage or even marantz are above my budget which are premium. As i believe they use premium parts and don't compromise on it.

A decent seller and installer. A friend purchased from him with proper gst bill and everything was smooth.
Generally these smaller players go the extra mile in providing good prices and service, compared to established ones. That's my experience.

Made a few calls today and there are other dealers who are offering better price compared to profx close to better online profile. Now I'm wondering do i really need x2800h; x1800 is equally good. Does the extra cost really justify it? My living room if not big and planning to use 7.2 anyways with front top. Room correction audessey multi eq is the same on both. I'm using b&w 602 s3 biggest book shelf and rest are polks including polk sub hts-10.

Do not go for Denon
Marantz cinema 70 is a much reliable option for around 90k
Hear Denon gets faulty soon and they take a lot of time even months to repair
Whereas Marantz have no complaints at all

I'm not sure if either of those AV receivers can drive your B&W speakers properly. The minimum impedance is 3ohms!
You really should pay attention to the speaker specifications carefully before deciding.
I recommend taking your speakers to the dealer and check if the receiver can drive them, before you put down any money.

The speakers nominal impedance is 8ohms. I checked that. But I agree better to take it and check.

Marantz cinema 70 i got a quote for 74k not fully negotiated. but x2800h iirc has better room correction and marantz has basic calibration and less power 50W per channel. Is these comparable or cinema 60 is the right comparison which of course is expensive ?

Cinema 70 is 90 watts per chanel.
Quote is pretty good the MRP being 1.64L
Make sure you get a proper GST invoice and confirmation from warranty center. Some units are imported without GST
Better to purchase the one covered under warranty.
Denon is the cheapest brand I gues with more functionality but the after sales feedback was not good. It does gives problems and repairs can take even months. Not hear of any such problem with Marantz
