Denon1100 or 2000 or marantz 1594

I am seeing for a option to bring a new avr through a friend who is returning from US. Budget 500$.

Between Denon new1100 or old avrx 2000, which one you would advise to buy? Also if marantz would be a good alternative.

I am thinking to pair the new avr with pioneer andrewjones speaker sets.

Also please suggest if my friend would face any customs issues.

Thanks. I was tempted to save money by bringing it from US. But yes, if any issues, then it would be a big risk.
