DIY CD player help?

i am planning to buy a DIY CD player & DAC kit,I wish to to know if there is any expert person in mumbai, doing assembly of electronic,who can help me assembling these DAC & CD player..thanks in advance.

DIY CD player? Have you considered assembling a PC instead? It will play CDs too.

An entry level PC with a good sound card is a much better option.

Thanks to both of you,it is certainly next step, but I have around 500 CD,s & to use these I had DIY shigaclone mind

I use a laptop with an external HDD to store all my audio files and get it connected with my Hifi to play music.........I am using an external USB sound card for the output......

In the long term perspective I would suggest ripping all these CDs either into WAV or FLAC formats based on your storage/convenience using the "VortexBox" installed in a PC which I believe can used to playback the CDs as well. There are some threads of FMs who built it in DIY and you can look at them and decide.
