DTH or Digital Cable(Hathway)

Hi Guys,

Recently bought a Sony LED TV. Confused with Cable connection. Which is the best?

Going for DTH will be best or for Digital Cable especially Hathway?

Had been to Hathway office here in Hyderabad but not a good experience which made me think on this issue.

And moreover i want to take this connection to new places I relocate as my job shifts from city to city(only metros) most of the time

So what do you people suggest?

I have both and incidentally a Sony LED TV. From my experience, DTH is far superior - infact some HD channels come with surround sound, so definitely DTH

I own Tata sky HD for quite some time, and earlier used Hathway digital cable. DTH is leaps and bounds better than digital cable. In terms of service quality also Tata sky is much better. My DTH was moved for mere rs.200 by Tata sky from my earlier home to the current one.

Digital Cable is not bad in fact Hathway quality is very good also comparatively Digital cable is cheaper than DTH. Drawback may be less HD channels but for SD, you can go for Digital Cable.

Few months back I switched from Hathway to Airtel HD DTH. While HD Channels are excellent, SD channels were of much better quality with Hathway Cable. I suspect Airtel is intentionally lowering the quality of SD channels to force users to subscribe HD channels!?

Bro Now you are in Hyderabad I will suggest you now digital cable especially Hathway situation is not good in Hyderabad in all ways.Price is very high and no new HD channels addition and service is pathetic.Being a Hathway customer I am saying go to DTH.Simply in one word hathway is sucks.
