Their offer is basically to those with unused sets of other providers. As far as I know you required to purchase a CI module and card costing about Rs.700/-. The main dish packages are not avilable. Only some selected channels are available. Visit their site for details. IMO it is better to wait, as true portability and a-la-carte channel selection are on the way.
If you want to switch now, it is more beneficial if you purchase the dish package with a new receiver.
It is also limited to a few cities. I enquired at an exhibhition today, and NONE of their sales team had any idea about the portability feature.
Would be great to know when and from which provider we can expect more HD channels apart from the famous " Very soon" !
