Hey everyone,

I'm currently in the process of organizing catering for an upcoming film shoot, and I'm seeking some advice and recommendations from those with experience in this area.

As we all know, keeping the film crew well-fed and energized is crucial for maintaining productivity and morale during long shooting days. However, I've found that navigating the multitude of catering options can be quite overwhelming.

I'm curious to hear about the catering solutions that fellow filmmakers have utilized in the past. Whether it's through hiring a dedicated catering company, arranging for food trucks to stop by throughout the day, or opting for a more DIY approach with homemade meals, I'm open to exploring various possibilities.

Some specific points I'm interested in hearing about include:

  • Reliability: Did the catering service deliver meals on time and consistently throughout the shoot?
  • Variety: Were there ample options to accommodate different dietary preferences and restrictions?
  • Quality: How would you rate the overall quality of the food provided?
  • Cost: What was the approximate cost per person, and was it reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered?
  • Logistics: Any tips or best practices for coordinating catering logistics on set?
Additionally, if anyone has had experiences with catering services, I'd greatly appreciate any local recommendations or warnings to consider.

Please feel free to share your thoughts, anecdotes, or any other insights related to film crew catering. Your input will be immensely helpful in ensuring that our crew stays well-fed and focused throughout our shoot.
