Amazon quotes 449 dollars for each.
Am i missing something ???
And did anybody hear them??

Ive heard some amazingly good, relatively inexpensive tower speakers of late,
including the Mordaunt-Short Aviano 6 and the NHT Absolute Tower, but I cant think of a better value in a tower speaker than the Studio 180.
This new JBL is iron-clad (well, actually fake woodgrain vinyl-clad) proof that its possible to improve a speakers looks without screwing up the sound.

I currently have a Denon 1612, Sonodyne Sonus 2504 (i chose it over Sonus 2605 as i found the vocals to be more focussed and clearer & with the thought that i might push them to surrounds at some point), Sonodyne Roar 201 subwoofer.

Now looking for fronts and had decided on auditioning

A quick feedback for JBL 180. I have auditioned it last week at JBL store (Pheonix, Pune). So much disappointed from it.

This was fed from a HK Stereo amp (Don't know the model) , however the guy said its 80+80 RMS. Using a CD source, even at -19 db, in a closed audition room, it struggles to produce even a good listening level. Rest forget about giving any punch or nice highs.

I was so much disappointed that I simply walked out and not even bothered to give a look for JBL 190.

For JBL 180, the price quoted was 20k for a pair.

I am looking for a reasonably good pair for my second Sansui and I am still searching.
