Getting AV Reciever from USA...good idea ???

Hi All,

I can find a huge price differential in Reciever prices when bought from USA...

Is it a good idea to buy it from states ?

Also please elaborate on Int'l warranty issues and a good step down brand/price.... ?

This topic has been discussed ad nauseum in HFV. Essentially you get only 110 volts in the US, you get no warranty. If you are bringing as personal baggage, be ready to pay upto Rs.2000/- per KG as additional baggage charges.
