Graphic Equaliser with Marantz PM8004

I am planning to upgrade from Marantz PM7000 to PM8004.

On checking the back panel, I couldn't find the processor IN/OUT connectors.

Just checking if there is some other way to connect my EQ to the amp.

Well this amplifier is designed to function either as preamp or as a power amp (only one function at a time ... Reference: Page 9 & 10 on the user manual). So without an external preamp a GEQ cannot be used. There are amplifiers with processor/pre-out & processor/pre in. EQs can be looped in this type of amplifiers.

If you feel that an EQ is a must in your system chain then do not buy an integrated amplifier with the processor/pre-out & processor/pre in instead buy a separate preamp & power amp and connect the EQ in between.

well the graphic eq can be connected between the source and the amp.
