There are lots of comments about how pricier cables are no different from cheaper ones etc.

I bought the Chord HDMI advance. The sound is significantly better. But the video? On the surface it looks the same. But it stands out is that the blues and greens of the eyes (of actors in foreign movies) stand out with the Chord, which I have never noticed with generic cables or even with the Belkin.

The signals on a HDMI cable are digital. Both audio and video. The cable cannot affect targeted areas like 'blues' or 'greens' since it does not know what colour is represented by which part of the digital signal. Same for audio signals. Something else must be wrong with the poorer cable like signal loss or reflections etc.
It's not that the Chord is a 'better' cable. It is the 'correct' cable, the other one must be a 'defective/poor' cable. This could give rise to problems but it's not possible to affect specific areas as mentioned above. If there is I'd like to read up about that.

I did a quick search just now and came across an interesting article about it. Suggest you read it. I haven't read it as it's exactly what I mentioned above.
But the first paragraph tells you what's written later.
Enjoy !
