Hello All,

I have a old Denon 1306 that doesn't have HDMI in. It has coax and Optical in.
I have Acer laptop that has HDMI out. is there any converter that will do this
HDMI to coax so that I can plug this digital out to Denon 1306 or any stereo amp.

If any links on this availability, pls let me know.

thanks. Btw, will there be compromise on the digital output ( in terms of losses, etc ) by using these converters/adapters ?

happen to see the laptop's spec. it says 3.5 mm jack with S/P DIF

Headphones/
speaker/line-out
jack with S/PDIF
support

This means that there should be a cable mini TOSlink that will plug in to 3.5 mm at one end, other end normal TOS link..

where do you find such cable - hope we can get in India..

if this cable is available, I don't have to worry about other product links given.
