Hi,
I am having a WD MEDIA PLAYER LIVE. It has the following connections on its rear: 1 HDMI out and 1 OPTICAL out. Also I do have an AVR DENON 1612 where it has 4 HDMI in and 1 HDMI out. I want these two devices to be connected to my SAMSUNG LCD TV which has 4 HDMI in and 1 OPTICAL out. I want the WD to be connected to the AVR via HDMI cable, how do I do it ? Suppose I connect the WD to the AVR via HDMI, that takes care of the audio part only, how do I transmit the video signals to the TV. Or vice versa if I connect the HDMI from WD to the LCD, no doubt it will give video & audio signals, but the audio will emit from the TV speakers only and since the AVR is not involved, I would be deprived of 5.1 surround sound/DTS signals from my Home theatre system. Can any of out folks suggest an easy idea.
Please let me know
JAYANT.
