Help :: DTH Option for South-West balcony

Dear All,

I have changed the house and have a balcony facing South-West. My Airtel DTH is void, does'nt work. What are my options.

Why don't you install the dish rooftop?

Most dish receivers points towards south east. Most of the satellities are near the equator or near south. Anyway you can still use the side walls of the building to install the dish. (Hope they permit you for that) It has some difficulty and complex procedure as wall brackets needs to be used but the best would be on terrace.

If you have own house then make big S or Z shape of 1/2", 10 Ft long pipe and extend the dish little outside. Though this could be tough for alignment but onetime job. Though it is not clear how much inside you are from south side.

I saw lot of people on my side of balcony, having Tata Sky, very few have Videocon D2H and Dish TV. As per the reviews (for HD) I may not go with Tata Sky. However, looks like the other two can solve my problem.

Issue resolved after successful installation of TS-HD.
