Help: Getting Hifi from US

This would be my first experience in getting gear from US.

Can you pls. suggest the best way (which courier agency to use) and how much it would cost including import duty on a gear valued at $450.

Guyz help. ICC is costing me some 12K on a gear of 24K. Paying 50% would hurt. Any cheaper and better way to get it home? Offcourse, someone carrying it along is an ideal option

btw, what are you getting? Amazon.com and amazon.de also ship selective stuff. They are fast and sometimes cheaper, plus also replace stuff if it you get a bad piece or it is lost or broken in transit.
