Hi,

I am new to the world of hi-fi audio. So, here I am for you guys' expert help.

That being said, I have to admit that my budget is tiny (only 40k for speakers and amplifier). I am planning to go for Polk Audio RTi A1 bookshelf speakers. Do you think they are a good choice?

Plus, do you think Sonodyne SIA 320 amplifier can do justice to the A1s?

Once again, my knowledge as well as experience is limited. This is my first venture into high-end audio equipment.

Thanks in advance.

is it for music..??

go for wharfedale,KEF or boston acoustics..
boston A26 is in fact in a sale at 19.9k..which is fantastic price for this pair of BS..
Boston Acoustics A 26 Bookshelf Speaker
you can ask anyone..

for rest of the money you will get
Marantz PM5004 Stereo Integrated Amplifier

this..marantz amp

this combo i thik is a very good combo at this price..

Yes, it is for music. Following your suggestion, I checked out the Boston Acoustics A26 on the net. And I must say I am very impressed with the 5-star reviews the BA speakers got!

Now about the Marantz integrated amp. Could you tell me where I should look for the Marantz PM5004 in Kolkata? SKS Traders? ProFx? The PM5004 is no longer available on Hifimart.

Thanks.

I will prefer RTi A1 above Boston as Polk sound is more dynamic.Bass on Boston is not impressive.Rti has good bass may not not be natural, but can match with most of the stereo amps.
