Hi Friends,
Now that my house interiors have finally been completed, am now in need of buying an surround sound setup. I have decided on the AVR I wanna buy, its Denon 1911, because of its ability to allow front heights, but am confused whether to go for 1911 or 1912. Is 1912 much better than 1911 in reality (not on paper only)? I will have a wifi modem right near it so connecting an ethernet cable wont be a problem.
My budget is around 60k (for speaker + AVR), and would be buying satellites or bookshelves as my viewing distance is just 8-10ft. Also, am looking for a nice looking setup (performance is more important though), so bulky looking speakers would be a big nono! Finally, I am fully aware that with my room setup, getting perfect sound would not be possible, as the tv room is a part of a bigger drawing room, so the right side opens to the drawing room while the left side has a glass door which opens up to a balcony.
Also, most of the speaker sets I have seen are all 5.1......so is it easy to get the additional two speakers required for heights?
Please help!!!
