Hi all new to surround sound systems and went out and got a bose Acoustimass 6 Speaker System ll need some help on how to set up as what receiver amp I will need is a 3D ,hd one needed as have a 3D tv Going to use for 5.1 surround sound only have a small room And budget so can you help me out many thanks

@hell_tell welcome to the forum.

now that you have already picked the speakers. you can pair them with a variety of avr's..

yamaha vsx 575 , denon x1000 , x2000.

please specify budget. all these are capable of 3D passthrough.

also the LFE and Bass control in the sub are a little confusing. at exact 12 is where the flat spot it. check the manual and set accordingly.

another point to note is the proprietary cables from the speakers connect to the sub and then from the sub a flat ribbon cable connects to the AVR.you can bypass the same and hook the cables directly to the AVR.
