How do you add stuff to your music collection?

Currently I listen to internet radio, spot a nice new band, download the album in mp3, if it is worth it, download the discography in mp3, if it is good , download the flac version of the better albums, if is awesome, i get the cd

Consider investing in a good media software like JRiver or equivalent for the "next level". Redbook CD is pretty good but computer audio gives you some interesting options - not just hi res files etc but also DSP adjustments that can help you fine tune the setup.
