Has anybody used HTPC with pj and avr? I am trying to connect my Zotac mini HTPC with Yamaha AVR and PJ but getting very blurry display on the screen. Sometimes loses signal completely, however, when the HTPC is connected directly to the PJ bypassing AVR the picture is fine and crisp on the screen. I have configured the display settings of HTPC and AVR but no success. I'm sorry I could not find any thread to post this. Any tips?

You need to totally turn off the video processing of the AVR. There may be a bypass mode for Yamaha. I had Onkyo 3008 for brief amount of time and it was making the picture very soft.

I also have PQ problem with the HDMI out of my HTPC irrespective of whether I connect the hdmi out to avr or to tv directly. The PQ is horrible and it is a pain to read letters. So I'm using the VGA output for display and HDMI for audio only. I am using the latest catalyst driver. I don't know whether it is a problem with my HDTV.

Thanks Manoj and Baiju. I will see if there is any video processing by pass mode for Yamaha AVR. I don't think it has one. I was feeding HTPC signal via HDMI to AVR.
Baiju, in my case I get good PQ when HTPC is directly connected to projector. But unfortunately I have run only 1 long HDMI cable from my AVR HDMI out to PJ thinking that I would put all input HDMI in the AVR and take one HDMI out to PJ. Now running another HDMI cable to PJ is a big pain for me. Hence if the problem persists I'm planning to use HDMI splitter from HTPC, one directly to PJ and other to AVR.
