In search of Misic Cafes or Music Bars

Hi !
I am chang from Korea.
As a foreigner, I am looking for a Music Cafe or Music Bar in Delhi.
I wish to enjoy a cup of coffee with good sound of music in Delhi.
In my home town, almost all the cafes or bars have good sound system.
In some cafes, I could listen a tube sound with old altec speaker.
Other bars served wine along with JBL 4344 sound or Bose 901 sound.
And there were many of Classic or Jazz listening Room by paying a cup of coffee.

In Delhi, I have tried to find a similar cafe or bar but I could not make it.

Could you recommand any Music Cafe or Music Bar in Delhi if you know and have been enjoyed.

Good sound brings many good things in our life.

Hey there Chang - I don't think this should be difficult. There are quite a few places in Delhi for just this. I remember a few around the Connaught Place area.

Give this post a couple of hours and I am sure the Delhi FMs will provide you with options and accurate coordinates .

Hi Chang, welcome to India and the forum...In Delhi, there are few places for Jazz and I am in the same boat as you as apart from Starbucks who play good recorded Jazz music, there are no such places...
However I can guide you to some very good bands like The Drift Trio, who regularly play wonderful jazz at TLR (Hauz Khas), SpeakEasy (Sector 15, Gurgaon) and a few other places....Follow them on Facebook and you will get to know where they are playing....
Stefan Kaye and the Jazz Bastards also play in Hauz Khas in the various pubs there but they are more of abstract fusion music with a hint of Jazz....
Do also subscribe to Jazz in Delhi and Jazz in India on Facebook as they will update you on the various groups performing in India but again very few come to Delhi...

I can totally identify with you. Delhi falls extremely short compared to peer cities, especially compared other world cities.

In most big cities (even average ones) in east Asia (China, Korea, Japan) there is huge culture of "music cafes", "live music bars", "karaoke bars". But not so much in India.
