Is anybody using Audiophile Wifi speaker systems in India?

Guys need help,

Is anybody using Audiophile Wifi speaker systems in India and what is the cost?, are you using any external wifi transmitting dongle and receiver? If yes how is the sound quality? and do please help me in identifying the make.

Look at this product: :: Violet :: This system runs on Wifi and has active speaker system along with a Wireless Active Subwoofer. It runs on its own secured channel through its 2.4 Ghz Wifi Radio.

The cost of the system is 65K and you got to audition it to believe it.

what is your room size? I recently heard it and liked it for the room size of Lakozy's demo room. Read the reviews but you should definitely go and listen yourself before forming any opinion.

You can use this system in a Multiroom setup too as the range of the wireless transmission is around 45 meters but with a brick wall in between it simply reduces to 20 meters which is pretty much ok with the size of flats in Delhi and NCR now your requirement could be something else.

Another product to try out is Sonos Amplified system. They are reputed among audiophiles and works like a charm even in a largish household.

I am not looking for single room setup. What i am looking out for is a multiroom setup with a single source. Multiple rooms different floors with single source.

Yes basically it is something like sonos which i want but is somebody using it here. Also they are expensive. I am not looking for a 5.1 system. There are 6 rooms on 2 floors. Source could be anything, pc/nas or internet streaming. Will apple airport express help?

Sonos will give you the solution that you require. With Apple Airport Express you will be able to send the signal to various Zones across your whole house but you won't be able to play different music in different zones, also you will have to invest separately on speakers and amplifier for each room so eventually your budget will shoot up, whereas an amplified Sonos with built in speakers will be much cheaper and fool proof solution.

Just an update. I am searching for more options and today i found this.

has anyone tried this. 70 $ for the receiver and 149$ for the home link system.

I can add this to any no of speaker systems.

My search continues.
