Issue with my Marantz PM6005 Integrated Amp

My amp has this issue where the sound from the right speaker cuts off when the volume knob is at a certain position (around 10-11 o'clock position). I seem to resolve this issue when I turn the knob slightly above or below this particular position and come back to it but it's an annoying issue to deal with everytime.
This wouldn't be so infuriating if it weren't for the fact that this happens only when the knob is at my ideal volume level.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Does the potentiometer need to be replaced?

Try cleaning the volume pot with a solution like deoxit first
