As the title states, Jayashree Singh aka Jay Singh, a doyenne of the Indie Pop/Jazz/Rock scene in India, passed away yesterday Jan 12th 2018 at Chennai. She was the vocalist of the Indie groups PINKNOISE and Skinny Alley, along with her late husband Gyan Singh and guitar virtuoso Amyt Datta, at Kolkata:
